Today I was going to explore Brussels a little... I had a great breakfast in my hotel... They had the news on and they were talking about the vice presidential debate. Everyone in Europe seems to be for obama. I have heard several times that when we re elected bush everyone was so upset and that if mccain wins Europe will just give up all hope for America! The whole world is watching us...seems like this election is so huge. My mom says if mccain wins we are moving out of the country. Ha! So yah... Europe seems to be keeping a close eye on us. And china apprently too... But there view of it seems superficial! Based on Sarah Paulin wearing there glasses or not. Hmm. Good thing they aren't voting! Anyways besides that which I know basically nothing about!
I took some food from breakfast and saved it for lunch to save money since the dollar is sucking so badly over here! Then I say around my room and read my book and fell back asleep until 12:40... Oops. I missed the train I wanted to take. I read more... I'm reading this book called divine romance! Its so good! Read it! Ita basically a book about a girl who grows up into prostitution and a man who falls in love with her and marries her and fixes her up anf loves her..but she keeps running away because she is afraid... Keeps falling back into her old life. Its basically about how god chases us! How he loves us and cleans us up... How he sees how filthy and how dirty we our but he also sees what we can be... He loves is unconditionally...0its an amazing book :)
I changed dollars into euros and went to go catch the train... But it started pouring rain and even with 3 jackets on I was freezing! I can't get a cold so here I am drinking a cup of hot chocolate! It is much more relaxing anyways! They give you these amazing chocolates with your cocoa! They are so good...everything.here seems so good. The hits are...0gorgeous! And the people are so nice! But its kind of strange. Some people will say hello and how are you even if you are just sitting near them... And others will just stare at you! Ha strange.
Anyways I leave for rwanda in the morning! Finally!

Hey becca! Your sister left a bulletin saying that you were going to Rwanda! wow. incredible. i wanted to go to Cambodia last year and do about the same thing you're doing buut my BCC schedule wouldn't allow it! Anyway I just read you're last blog and the book you're reading sounds interesting! I like how you interpreted it. Hopefully you'll be able to write more blogs in Rwanda! I'll be looking out to see what's new on your blog page!
Peace out and God bless dude.
Becca,we are so proud of you and what you are doing, and glad you are there safe and sound. Just to feel closer to you I put a world time map on my computer so I can tell exactly what time it is there and when the sun rises and sets. Been looking at lots of u-tube videos and pictures on line, and tonight I was able to tune in some Kigali shortwave radio stations in English at 6055 mhz (Radio Rwanda) and 6180 mhz (Deutsche Welle.) I'm not sure if those are your local stations there as well. I should have given you one of my portable shortwave receivers and some batteries. If you like I'll send one with the soccer balls.
Becca, you may be thousands of miles away in space, but you are right here with me in my heart. I love you so! Be safe!
Dad
Becca, the earthquake you felt tonight at 2:02 am, was a magnitude 5.2, 6 miles deep, located 80 miles northwest of you in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. No reports about damage.
Love you! Dad
