I am not even out of the country yet actually! My entire first day of traveling was all the way to....dun dun dun ... COLORADO woo hoo.
ha..
so its been a not so exciting first day. I did meet the woman that I am traveling with though, her name is karen. She is so sweet. Very funny and just really down to earth and has an amazing passion for Rwanda. She has already taught me so much and given me so much advice. My mom and I took her out to dinner tonight actually and her stories put my mom at ease.
but here i am... sitting alone in this creepy... yet amazing old house. lesley and my mom are at a recital but I didnt feel like going. this house is just... very strange. the perfect scary movie house for surreee. everything creeks! and there is a 3 foot tall stuffed rat in the bathroom with a dress on... first time i walked in there i thought i had founda little girl! and there is this huuuggeeee display case of hand made dolls from all over the world.. really amazing when you think about it.but really creepy at first glance when your alone and its dark.hmmm.
this house fascinates me and scares the crap out of me at the same time...

tomorrow morning i leave for brussels!!! my trip will finally start for real :)
so yah. this is a boring update for sure! im sorry. for all i know this might be the only update you get! we shall see how internet connections work out in rwanda. but i dont think it wille be in my favor.
